Cyber Technology Group (“Cyber,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit experiencecybergroup.com (the “Site”), contact us, request a quote or consultation, apply for employment, or otherwise do business with us.

This Policy also describes privacy rights that may be available to California residents under applicable California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”).

This Policy does not cover information we process solely on behalf of a customer in connection with technology systems owned or controlled by that customer, such as footage or information generated by a customer's own security, camera, automation, or similar system. In those circumstances, the customer generally controls the information and Cyber processes it only as necessary to provide requested services.

2. Personal Information We Collect

The personal information we collect depends upon how you interact with Cyber. We may collect the following categories of information:

Identifiers. Name, email address, mailing or home address, telephone number, IP address, and similar identifiers. This information may be provided directly by you or collected automatically from your browser or device when you use the Site.

Customer and commercial information. Products or services purchased, requested, or considered; project and quote information; purchase and service history; and related customer records.

Payment information. Information necessary to process payments or financing transactions. Payment information may be processed directly by third-party payment or financing providers rather than stored by Cyber.

Internet or network activity. Limited technical information generated when you access the Site, such as IP address, browser or device information, and information necessary to deliver, secure, and operate the Site.

Location information. Approximate location derived from an IP address and physical addresses voluntarily provided for consultations, installations, service calls, deliveries, or other business purposes.

Professional and employment information. Resumes, employment history, references, qualifications, and other information provided by job applicants.

Audio or visual information. Cyber may receive or maintain audio, video, photographs, or similar information when reasonably necessary for customer service, project documentation, security, training, or other legitimate business purposes.

Other information you provide. We may collect other information you voluntarily provide when communicating or doing business with us.

Sensitive Personal Information

In the course of providing technology, electrical, security, networking, or related services, Cyber may occasionally receive information that could qualify as sensitive personal information under applicable law.

We use such information only as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, maintain security, process transactions, comply with law, or for other purposes permitted by applicable law. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals.

3. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information:

Directly from you, such as when you complete a form, request a quote, communicate with us, visit our showroom, apply for employment, or have a system installed or serviced.

Automatically, when your browser or device communicates with the Site and its underlying hosting and security infrastructure.

From third parties, such as payment processors, financing providers, referral partners, technology providers, or other parties involved in providing services you request.

We do not disclose sensitive personal information except as reasonably necessary to provide services, operate our business, maintain security, or comply with applicable law.

6. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Cyber does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If our practices change in the future, we will update this Policy and implement any notice, consent, or opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law before engaging in such activity.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary and proportionate to the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law.

Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and may take into account:

The duration of our customer or business relationship.
Project, installation, warranty, and service requirements.
Accounting, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations.
Security and fraud-prevention needs.
Applicable statutes of limitation and potential disputes.
Legal or regulatory requirements.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

8. Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Website Communications

The Site necessarily uses certain technologies and network communications to deliver content, maintain security, remember privacy preferences, and provide basic Site functionality.

As of the Effective Date, Cyber has disabled Squarespace's built-in visitor analytics logging and does not intentionally deploy non-essential third-party analytics, advertising pixels, tags, SDKs, or similar tracking technologies before obtaining any consent required by applicable law.

Certain communications between your browser and Cyber's hosting, security, content-delivery, or other infrastructure may occur automatically because they are reasonably necessary to load, secure, and operate the Site.

Where required by applicable law, non-essential technologies will not be activated unless and until the visitor makes the applicable privacy choice or provides required consent.

You may also control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. Disabling certain essential technologies may affect Site functionality.

9. Privacy Signals and Global Privacy Control

Certain browsers and browser extensions allow users to communicate privacy preferences automatically, including through Global Privacy Control (“GPC”).

Where Cyber is legally required to recognize such a signal, and where the signal is technically detectable by the Site, we will treat it as a valid privacy preference in accordance with applicable law.

Because Cyber does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no such sale or sharing from which a visitor needs to opt out.

10. California Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law and Cyber's obligations under that law, California residents may have the right to:

Request access to personal information maintained about them.
Request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.
Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, if applicable.

Receive information about the categories of sources, purposes, and recipients associated with their personal information.
Exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.

Where required by law, Cyber will acknowledge and respond to verified requests within the time periods established by applicable law.

Verification

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain privacy requests. Verification may include matching information you provide against information Cyber already maintains.

We will request only information reasonably necessary to verify the request. If we cannot reasonably verify your identity or authority to make a request, we may be unable to fulfill it.

Authorized agents may be required to provide evidence that they are authorized to act on your behalf.

11. Privacy Choices for California Visitors

Cyber provides California visitors with privacy controls intended to prevent non-essential technologies subject to consent requirements from operating before the visitor has made the applicable privacy choice.

Your privacy choice may be stored in your browser or device so that it can be recognized on future visits. Clearing browser data, using another browser, or changing devices may require you to make the selection again.

Cyber does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will provide any additional privacy controls required by applicable law.

12. Children and Minors

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children.

Cyber does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us in circumstances that violate applicable law, please contact us using the information in Section 15.

13. California "Shine the Light"

California's "Shine the Light" law may provide California residents with certain rights regarding disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

Cyber does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal obligations.

When we update the Policy, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice regarding material changes.
